DGP inaugurates residential quarters at Police Housing Colony Srinagar | KNO

In its efforts to provide better facilities to the police personnel and their family members, Director General of Police Dr S.P. Vaid inaugurated two more residential quarters at Police Housing Colony, Qamarwari here today. On this occasion, IGP Kashmir Shri Munir Ahmad Khan, IGP Headquarters Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta, DIG CKR Shri Ghulam Hassan Bhat, SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray, AIG Personnel Shri Mubassir Latifi, AIG Buildings, Shri Abdul Waheed Shah, X-en of PHC, Shri Nasir Zargar were present. After inaugurating the quarters, Dr Vaid inspected both the residential quarters and sought reports about the facilities being provided in these quarters. Earlier this month, Dr. Vaid inaugurated seven blocks of accommodation at Kehribal Mattan, four blocks at Dignibal Ganderbal and a residential block at Gulshan Ground Jammu to provide better accommodation to the personnel deployed in the concerned areas. Jammu and Kashmir Police is upgrading its infrastructure to provide better living and working facilities to the personnel. Various residential and office accommodations have been constructed across the state to strengthen the building infrastructure.
